BRING: Chairs, umbrella? Cooler bag with ice, drinks, eats, etc. even a
small braai in case the communal braai’s get full (unlikely though)
should anything be forgotten, there are shops such as Woolworths, Spar,
Pick ‘n Pay just up the road.

Remembrance Sunday Memorial Service

Please join us for at the Annual Remembrance Service
to honour those who paid the supreme sacrifice
for their country in the fight against terrorism.
DATE: 13th November 2011
TIME: 10:00 for 10:15
DRESS: Befitting of the Memorial Service
Regimental Headdress, Blazers, and Medals.
A change of clothes is a sound idea if you wish to braai.
VENUE:
Dickie Fritz Moth Shellhole,
115 Dickie Fritz Avenue off Elm Street, Edenvale, Johannesburg.
Private Wreaths may be laid after the official Wreath Laying
Ceremony.
After the service – Picnic Time – No Charge, donations welcome.
Stay on after the service and reminisce and enjoy the company of
your fellow Servicemen
with whom you shared a common cause.
Please bring your
own meat, rolls, salads etc, or whatever you wish to pack in
your picnic basket.
Braai fires will
be available. Due to the very poor response to our catering
efforts at
the 2010 Service
it has been decided that we will only provide the braai fires
and coffee.
This will be at no charge but donations toward the Memorial fund
will be most welcome.
Please purchase your drinks from the MOTH BAR.
